To all of our loyal customers, we would like to inform you of pricing increases within the industry for asphalt products. This price change is due to an increase in material and production costs as well as a supply shortage. Please refer to the bulletin from our supplier below and the attached documents for more information.

PRICE INCREASE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR March 15th , 2018

5 to 10% on all Residential Roofing Products & Accessories

To all of our valued Customers:

The roofing manufacturers have all announced price increases effective March 2018.  I have attached copies of all the price increase letters for you to share with your customers and salesforce.  In addition, attached is a very informative Asphalt Bulletin provided by Owens Corning that does an outstanding job of communicating both the supply and demand side of the base input for roofing products.  The industry is also facing a glass mat shortage and continually rising operating costs which will directly affect raw material costs and product availability for all manufacturers this year.  

We at SRS feel it is of the utmost importance to keep you updated and provide advance notice of these upcoming price increases, as well as provide our very best outlook on where prices are headed so you can build them into your future bids and jobs. 

Your local salesperson or branch manager will provide your new pricing for shipments after March 15th.  If anything changes with this outlook, we will let you know immediately.  We appreciate your support of the SRS family of companies and will keep in close touch over the next 60 days.
